Job Overview
Primarily, we are seeking a fast-paced assistant to work in the studio, processing flowers during the week on a part-time basis.
In addition, there is an opportunity to be a floral sales assistant.
This is a part-time, contract position. Processing flowers are scheduled mostly during the week, on Thursdays. This is a good job for people who want to supplement other part-time or full-time work.
Duties
- Unpack flowers delivered in boxes.
- Process and condition flowers quickly.
- Wash buckets and clean the studio after processing.
- Carry flower buckets and organize in flower cooler
- Additional sales role:
- Use POS technology to make sales transactions
- Provide advice on flower and plant care.
- Set up, manage, and clean up flower truck and flower bar events.
- Working Conditions
- Willingness to work in a home-based studio
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours outside in hot and cold temperatures
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
