Systems & Access Management
- Administer, configure, and optimize internal systems, including Google Workspace, Zoom, Adobe, OpenAI, and other enterprise tools.
- Manage employee provisioning and deprovisioning, ensuring appropriate access and compliance with least-privilege principles.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of licenses, access levels, and user activity across platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend tools that improve efficiency and data protection.
- Partner with leadership on software and hardware lifecycle planning and budgeting.
- Support ongoing compliance programs (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI) by maintaining documentation, coordinating audits, and tracking remediation efforts.
- Implement and monitor security controls for internal systems and endpoints.
- Facilitate quarterly and annual security reviews, penetration tests, and risk assessments.
- Lead internal security awareness initiatives, including training, communications, and best-practice documentation.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer security questionnaires and internal security-related inquiries.
- Document and support incident response activities and post-event reviews.
- Manage the full lifecycle of employee hardware—procurement, provisioning, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Ensure devices are configured and monitored for compliance with company standards.
- Maintain records of all IT assets and assist Finance with asset tracking and reporting.
- Develop and maintain self-service documentation and learning materials that empower employees to use systems securely and effectively.
- Collaborate with P&C to ensure technology onboarding and offboarding processes are smooth and compliant.
- Promote a proactive culture of data security and shared responsibility across all teams.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or systems/network administration or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Google Workspace Administrator Certification, SSCP, CCSK, HCISPP, CIDDP, etc. or similar certifications
- Experience installing, upgrading, and maintaining macOS and Linux environments (Ubuntu, Arch, Gentoo, CentOS, AWS-hosted systems, etc.).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and hardware (switches, routers, VLANs, PoE).
- Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools (Hexnode, JumpCloud, Kandji, Intune, etc.).
- Strong administration experience with Google Workspace, Zoom, Adobe, OpenAI, and other SaaS platforms (e.g., Basecamp, Slack).
- Solid understanding of IT fundamentals and how technology supports organizational goals.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Able to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and deliver results
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- The ability to work independently, but also be a strong team player across the organization
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users
- The expected salary range for this role will differ based upon the candidate. Salary presented with a job offer will be based on factors such as calibrated job level, educational background, prior work experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
