Callie’s Apothecary is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Advisor / Dispensary Associate to join our team at a licensed Alabama medical cannabis dispensary.
Patient Advisors play an essential role as one of the first points of contact for patients entering the dispensary. This role focuses on delivering excellent service, supporting dispensary operations, and helping patients feel comfortable and informed in a professional healthcare-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience
- Welcome patients and caregivers in a professional and compassionate manner
- Build positive relationships with patients and provide exceptional service
- Answer patient questions and help ensure concerns are addressed promptly and professionally
- Follow up with patients when appropriate to ensure satisfaction
Dispensary Operations
- Assist the Certified Dispenser with preparing patient orders in accordance with company policies and state regulations
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and patient-ready dispensary environment
- Communicate patient requests or concerns to the Certified Dispenser or management when necessary
- Alert staff to product or supply shortages
Team Support
- Provide operational support to the Certified Dispenser and dispensary staff
- Assist with proper handling and disposal of products when required
- Participate in team meetings and support overall dispensary operations
Documentation & Compliance
- Accurately enter patient information into dispensary systems
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to medical cannabis
Required Skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

- Comfortable working with computers and data entry
Technical Skills
- Basic to intermediate computer proficiency
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling is a plus
Education & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to pass required background checks and be free of felony convictions
- Completion of Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission Certified Dispensary Training required (or ability to complete after hire)

Regulatory Requirements (Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission)
Final candidates must be able to successfully complete all required background checks and regulatory onboarding requirements before working in a licensed dispensary.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
