About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW) to join our Behavioral Health team. The Social Worker provides individual psychotherapy to Callen-Lorde patients and members of their families of choice, along with family/couple and group psychotherapy. This role involves conducting assessments for medical patients seeking behavioral health services, providing crisis intervention, and referring patients within Callen-Lorde or externally as appropriate. Depending on clinic needs, the social worker may work in one or more of the following settings: Article 28 clinic, providing short-term therapy using evidence-based models Article 28 clinic, providing integrated behavioral health assessments and referrals Article 31 clinic, providing therapy using evidence-based models Article 31 clinic, providing therapy on a walk-in basis using an open-access model Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive behavioral health services within LMSW/LCSW scope of practice Conduct assessments and facilitate appropriate referrals Deliver crisis intervention services when needed Provide individual, family/couples, and group psychotherapy Collaborate with behavioral health management, psychiatry providers, primary care providers, and care coordinators Maintain current productivity standards through patient scheduling and monitoring Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives Participate in agency on-call services Work a 35-hour work week that requires a clear productivity expectation of 33 scheduled weekly visits Work Schedule: Callen-Lorde's Behavioral Health Clinic is open Monday through Friday. This is a full-time, Monday - Friday, onsite position which will include some evening hours.
