Farmworkers & Laborers, Crop, Nursery, Greenhouse

Plant crop, harvest crop, move and operate equipment, repair damaged equipment, repair and construct resources used for farming, spraying manure, sanitizing manure equipment, operate and move manure equipment. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc, attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, construct facilities, construct structures to support plant growth, direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting, guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, maintain grounds and landscaping, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, operate self propelled machinery, opertate specialized equipment in conjunction with cleaning seed, clean and sanitize equipment used in spreading manure, participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops, position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers, regulate conditions, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops, trap and destroy pests, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, and electric tools, weigh containers and record weights and identifying information. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, silage choppers, skid steers, sprayers, spreaders, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: bushes, corn, hay, silage, soybeans, wheat. Speak and understand English.
