About The Role
Security officer during events of Pumpkins and Fantasy in Lights is responsible for being a first responder to all guests and team members. Must have First Aid /CPR cortication & AED Certified with valid driver's license, and excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to multi-task and work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the Security officer is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. Must protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues. Must follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations. Must be at least 21 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license and available for special events, weekends, evening shifts and possible holidays.

Qualification Summary
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma required, and at least 2 years of experience in security operations.
- Experience in hotel or related field helpful.
- Must have a valid driver's license from appropriate state. (may need if they drive)
- Basic computer knowledge and operations.
- Ability to operate two way radio and knowledge of Georgia 10-codes.
- Good verbal and written skills
- Exhibit good phone and radio etiquette.
- Work under stressful emergency situation and remain calm.
- CPR and First Aid certification or ability to secure such certification with in 6 months of employment.
- Physical Requirements
- Long hours sometimes required.
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 25pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand for long hours at a time.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Be able to positively motivate and lead a team, conveying information and ideas clearly and effectively so that ownership of high levels of guest service is understood to be the role of each individual team member.
Salary : $40,000 - $70,000
