Position Overview:
Callaway Nursing Home is seeking an organized, personable, and motivated Office Manager to lead our administrative operations. This role is key to creating a positive environment while keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, professional, and friendly presence at the front office, greeting residents, families, and visitors.
- Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Lead and support front office staff to ensure efficient, compassionate operations.
- Maintain resident records and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring office personnel.
- Serve as a liaison between departments, residents, and families, promoting clear and supportive communication.
- Monitor budgets and expenses, and assist with financial reporting.
- Implement and maintain office procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Support nursing staff with scheduling and resource management.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and caring manner.
- Complete reports specific to long-term care facilities in Oklahoma.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in office management, preferably in healthcare or nursing home settings.
- Warm, approachable, and engaging personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance is a plus.
