What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Warehouse position at Callas Florist, LLC?
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to distribute our floral and gift products promptly to our customers. We are a locally owned florist located in Murrells Inlet SC. Hires must represent our company in a professional courteous manner. Must have a team partner approach. Successful applicants must have strong ability to perform efficiently an in a manner consistent with cost-effective operations. Ability to offer outstanding customer service and satisfaction . Hours & Rate of pay to be discussed at interview.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Knowledge of Horry County a plus
- Must be available to work extended hours as needed and at holiday periods.
- Process, inspect Flowers & Clean buckets as needed
- Complete logs and reports
- Use of floral software (training provided)
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid driver’s license
- Smart phone required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree
- May be required to use own vehicle with compensation
