Position Summary
Backroom Associate is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Backroom Associate to support daily inventory, stocking, and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving shipments, organizing merchandise, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are ready for store or fulfillment needs. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience is required paid training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming shipments and deliveries.
- Unload, sort, and organize merchandise in the backroom area.
- Stock products and maintain organized storage locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and product tracking.
- Prepare items for restocking and fulfillment needs.
- Verify shipment quantities and product information.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Keep the backroom clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with moving, labeling, and arranging merchandise.
- Support daily warehouse and store operations.
- Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect items and report issues.
- Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move packages or merchandise up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer skills are helpful.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
