Warehouse & Fleet Operations Manager

Position SummaryCall Me Electric is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Warehouse Fleet OperationsManager to oversee all company vehicles, tools, equipment, and warehouse materialinventory. This position is responsible for ensuring our field teams are equipped, our fleet iscompliant and operational, and our warehouse runs with precision and accountability. Theideal candidate understands logistics, asset control, preventative maintenance, andelectrical material management. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong systemsthinking and accountability.Core Responsibilities1. Fleet Management Manage and maintain company vehicle fleet (vans, trucks, specialty vehicles) Schedule and track preventative maintenance Coordinate inspections, registrations, and insurance compliance Track fuel usage and implement cost controls Oversee vehicle cleanliness and organization standards Manage vehicle assignments and fleet replacement planning Track GPS systems (if applicable) Coordinate accident reporting and repair managementKPIs: 100% compliance on inspections and registrations; Reduced downtime; Monthly fuelefficiency reporting.2. Equipment & Tool Management Maintain master inventory of all tools and equipment Implement tool check-in / check-out system Track serialized assets Oversee calibration scheduling (megger, torque wrenches, etc.) Coordinate equipment repairs and warranty claims Conduct quarterly tool audits Enforce tool accountability policiesKPIs: Tool loss below benchmark; Zero expired calibration tools; 98% audit accuracy.3. Warehouse & Material Management Maintain organized, labeled, clean warehouse environment Track material inventory levels Manage stock for high-volume electrical items Coordinate material deliveries and staging Implement reorder point system Prevent overstocking and dead inventory Assist PMs and estimators with material tracking Coordinate returns and credits with suppliers Maintain secure storage for high-value materialsKPIs: 97% inventory accuracy; Reduced emergency runs; Improved material turnover.4. Operational Support Support project managers with material staging Coordinate delivery schedules to job sites Assist with large mobilizations (EV projects, service upgrades, etc.) Maintain warehouse OSHA compliance Ensure safety equipment compliance Oversee waste removal and scrap recycling processes5. Systems & Reporting Maintain digital asset management system Provide monthly fleet and inventory reports Track asset depreciation for accounting Assist accounting with inventory reconciliation Recommend process improvementsQualifications 5 years experience in warehouse, fleet, or logistics management Experience in electrical supply or construction industry preferred Strong organizational and leadership skills Familiarity with electrical materials and terminology Proficiency in inventory management software Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in warehouse environment Valid driver’s licenseSkills & Attributes Detail-oriented and highly accountable Systems thinker Strong communication skills Leadership and enforcement ability Problem solver Cost conscious Clean and organized mindsetWhy This Role Matters at Call Me ElectricOur field crews cannot operate without precision logistics.
