Master Teacher – Room 4 (CYW Fairwood)
The Master Teacher at CYW Fairwood assumes responsibility for leading the development, care, and education of children while modeling developmentally appropriate practices and adhering to agency policies. CYW is a high-quality, play-based child development program accredited through Quality Matters. Our Fairwood campus serves children from 6 weeks through 5th grade. In this role, you will help ensure a safe, nurturing environment that meets both Title 5 and Title 22 regulations while fostering strong, collaborative partnerships with families.

- SIGN-ON BONUS: $1500 (Paid after 90 days of continuous employment)
The Master Teacher at CYW Fairwood assumes responsibility for leading the development, care, and education of children while modeling developmentally appropriate practices and adhering to agency policies. CYW is a high-quality, play-based child development program accredited through Quality Matters. Our Fairwood campus serves children from 6 weeks through 5th grade. In this role, you will help ensure a safe, nurturing environment that meets both Title 5 and Title 22 regulations while fostering strong, collaborative partnerships with families.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Compensation: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour (Based upon Experience)
- The Role: Assumes responsibility for a team and the development and education of children. You will model developmentally appropriate curriculum and agency policies while overseeing classroom routines and meal-time clean-up.

Requirements
- Valid “Master” Teacher Permit (Required) or Must be Master Teacher Eligible with plans to apply.
- 24 CORE ECE units REQUIRED.
- 1–2 years minimum experience as a Lead/Master Teacher in an early learning environment.
- Strong instructional practice and classroom management.
- Ability to model best practices, mentor staff, and provide consistent guidance.
- Reliable, passionate about the ECE field, excellent customer service, knowledgeable, nurturing, a team player, and strong work ethic.
- Must be able to start within 3 weeks with Live Scan completed (Live Scan fee reimbursed after 90 days).
- Willing to work at any of the CYW school sites as needed.
- Willing to work occasional overtime as needed.
