Field Auditor

This position is responsible for coordinating and participating in all California Waste Solutions (CWS) public education activities and events. The individual will also be responsible for leading CWS’s ECO-Team in auditing resident recycle bins and providing courtesy notices to our customers when they are not using their home recycle bins properly and will educate them on the proper way to recycle.

Essential Job Functions:

· Audits customers’ home recycling bin for contamination

· Participate in company public education activities and events evenings and/or weekends

· Participates in community volunteer programs and company event logistics

· Provides educational literature for customers

· Other responsibilities as needed and required

Required skills and qualifications:

· Proficiency with commonly used Microsoft software programs

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Ability to interact with diverse people

· Good general oral and written communication skills

· Morning, evening, weekend and holiday work will be required at times

· Valid California Driver’s License required

· Clean DMV record required

· Must have a reliable vehicle for required job related travel (To be compensated with mileage reimbursement)

Desired skills and qualifications:

· Experience in collection or transportation industry a plus

· Bilingual – Spanish a plus

Please note the hours for this position are 5:30am – 10:30am. A background and drug test are required.
