Shop Maintenance

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities:

The Applicant will:

· operate hand and power tools and equipment common to the Utility trades

· be responsible for the shop inventory and cleanliness

· understand and demonstrates compliance of the company’s safety processes

· act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core values

· assist office personal as needed

· assist the Fleet Department as needed

· assist the Vacation Rental Department as needed

· perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on Fleet vehicles and equipment

· maintain company tools, equipment and shop as required

· maintain cleanliness of Company vehicles and equipment

· will be required to travel to locations other than the assigned work site

· will adjust to work schedule changes

· work on other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or GED equivalency

· At least 18 years of age

· Able to lift 50 pounds or more

· Able to complete tasks without immediate supervision

· Understands and follow’s written and oral instructions

· Has a clean, valid California driver’s license

· Ability to drive company vehicles

· Has the ability to work well as part of a team

· Has the ability to handle multiple tasks and works well under pressure

· Knowledge of climbing equipment helpful but not a requirement

· Knowledge of the Spanish language is very helpful in this position

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
