PRODUCTION-DRIVER
California Tool and Welding Supply is a family owned and operated Company (40 years) specializing in Industrial and Compressed Gases, Specialty Gases & Equipment, Welding & Liquidfied Gases, and Bulk Gas. Entry level skills are welcomed to apply.
Summary:
The Production/Driver entails delivering industrial gas products/hardgoods to customers and work in the dock filling cylinders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load, download, and verify accuracy inbound and outbound cylinders
- Document discrepancies and notify the Manager
- Examine returned cylinders for surface defects such as dents, cracks, burns, scrape, hydro date, etc. and set them in the maintenance location for repair
- Transport empty cylinders to the designated area for gas fulfillments
- Fill propane, CO2, and other industrial gases in accordance with guidelines appropriate
- Make deliveries as needed
- Follow all CTWS Safety Policy on proper handling of cylinders
- Project/other duties as required and assigned by management
Requirements:
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to roll 50 lbs. cylinders
- Bilingual prefered (English/Spanish)
- Must have a good Motor Vehicle Record
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm
