Role Description The Account Manager - Subsurface Products is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customer accounts, focusing on Subsurface locating and inspection products. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying customer needs, presenting appropriate product and service solutions, and preparing quotes and proposals. The Account Manager will coordinate product demonstrations, training opportunities, and post-sale support in collaboration with technical and service teams. Additional responsibilities include tracking sales activities, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, monitoring market trends, and contributing to sales strategies that support company growth.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in account management, customer relationship building, and consultative selling.
- Experience with utility locating, mapping, and related solutions is highly beneficial.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, to a variety of professional audiences.
- Competence in using CRM tools, productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent), and basic data tracking for sales reporting.
- Proven organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, and attention to detail in managing multiple accounts.
- Comfort working on-site with customers, conducting in-person meetings, and occasionally visiting client locations as needed.
- Previous experience in B2B sales, technical sales, or customer service within an equipment or technology environment is preferred.
- High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
