Job Description And Duties
Under the general direction of the Chief of Fiscal Services, Manager II, the Budget Officer plans, organizes, and directs the operations of the Budget Office. The incumbent is responsible for the development, implementation, administration and control of the budgets of the State Treasurer's Office (STO) and the Boards, Commissions, and Authorities (BCAs) under the purview of the State Treasurer.
This listing is also being advertised at the Supervisor II level at JC-506061. Candidates may apply at both levels. However, candidates must submit a separate application for each level. The complexity of duties will be modified to be consistent with the classification of the candidate hired.
