Job Description and Duties
REQUISITIONS: Process requisitions through the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) system, place orders using the Procurement Card, and handle petty cash purchases. Procurement Card holder. Process paperwork per policy in HPM 11.2, Materials Management Manual. Petty cash custodian. Complete weekly CHP 230, Transmittal Records, and quarterly CHP 264, Reimbursement - Petty Cash Requests. Process Cal-Card statements.
SALVAGE CLERK: Schedule salvage inspections. Assist the public over the telephone or in-person.
Process recurring invoices for contracted services, and track expenditures to ensure amount spent is within contacted maximum. Copy, scan, and/or fax materials for Division and Areas as requested. Track and order quarterly office supplies. Office mail delivery and pick up. Back-up for outgoing postal mail. Administrative filing. Clerical support for Associate Governmental Program Analysts. Serve as petty cash coordinator. Back-up to answer incoming telephone calls and receptionist/counter sales. Weekly transmittal.
Serve as the back-up to Office Assistants at the front counter with various requests for accident reports, service of subpoenas, and other public records requests as needed. Provide back-up for the other Office Technicians in their absence.
- Conduct annual language survey for Northern Division.
