New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Under the direction of the Deputy Director (DD) of the Deputy Director's Office (Office), in the Legal Affairs Division (Division), within the Department of Cannabis Control (Department), the Analyst I will provide direct administrative support to the DD, such as calendering, document proofreading and preparation, and meeting facilitation. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative tasks for the Division and will perform analytical support related to public responses, program budget evaluations, strategic planning, legal research and policy development. The incumbent is expected to consistently exercise initiative, independence, and originality in performing these critical support duties.
