CASE Medical Group is a physician-only private practice providing anesthesia services to Sutter Hospitals in the Sacramento area from Davis to Auburn. We serve 5 hospitals, 10 outpatient surgery centers and several eye surgery centers. Subgroups are based out of the regional hospitals and practice spectrum depends on the subgroup, but all are excellent, enjoyable anesthesia practices so it depends on where you want to live. We hire, on average, 6 to 8 physicians per year. Both new grads and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply. Sutter Medical Center Sacramento is our midtown Sacramento campus with 60 anesthesiologists. This is Sutter’s new flagship hospital complex with 520 beds, 22 main OR’s, 4 outpatient surgery centers and 2 eye centers, plus various other anesthetizing locations. In addition to our General pool we have three subspecialty groups: Obstetric, Cardiac and Pediatric anesthesia. This is a very collegial group of talented anesthesiologists all working together to care for the daily schedule of patients. With a group this size the call frequency is not onerous. We also have rotating positions in Acute Pain Service and Board Runner, which are enjoyable and keep the system running smooth. The Sacramento and Roseville areas are a wonderful place to live, with near ideal weather, excellent schools, a vast array of recreation opportunities and proximity to the Sierras, Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley and the Bay Area. This year we have a starting incentive of $75,000 for each physician who joins us which will go a long way to help with moving costs.
