Job Title: Administrative Operations Specialist

Position Summary
The Administrative Operations Specialist provides comprehensive operational and administrative support across Human Resources, Finance, and Facilities functions at CRLA Headquarters in Modesto, California. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient HR operations, supporting financial processes, and maintaining a well-functioning and professional workplace environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, a stellar communicator, service-minded, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Human Resources Operations Support (Approx. 50%)
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of documentation, system entries, and employee communications.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR systems and personnel files.
- Monitor HR inbox and respond to general employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with compliance documentation, reporting, and audit preparation.
- Support benefits administration tasks, training logistics, and HR initiatives as assigned.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and internal communications for the HR team.
- Other HR administrative duties as assigned.
Finance Department Support (Approx. 10%)
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including depositing incoming checks and coordinating the printing and mailing of checks.
Facilities & Office Operations Support (Approx. 40%)
- Process physical mail at the Modesto office, handling follow up tasks including depositing checks, scanning mail, and communicating with stakeholders.
- Coordinate facilities requests, vendor scheduling, and service appointments.
- Support workplace safety and compliance initiatives.
- Assist with meeting and event logistics, including room setup and equipment coordination.
- Serve as a point of contact for general office operation needs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a diverse, family-friendly environment and compensation based on competitive public interest salaries; the estimated starting annual salary range for this position is: $26.67-36.67 hourly (placement in the range is primarily determined by years of related experience). A 401K retirement plan with CRLA contribution effective immediately. Qualifications:Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, HR, finance, or related field preferred. (?)
- 1–3 years of administrative or operational support experience required.
- Experience supporting HR, finance, or office operations functions preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS and financial systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong customer service orientation and collaborative mindset.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based environment.
- May require some flexibility to support meetings, events, or special projects that fall outside of traditional business hours.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to move throughout the office to support operational needs.
- Occasional lifting of office supplies or materials (up to 25 lbs).
