Center Manager (OT, PT, SLP) for on-site Outpatient Therapy

Pay Rate: $153,000-$160,000

The Outpatient Therapy Manager will possess a highly specialized knowledge base and skills to facilitate patient treatment and staff development. Communicates clinical issues, as they relate to service or program development, to the leadership team. Promotes clinical development, competency and expertise in staff to maximize patient outcomes. Assists with daily operational management tasks. Effectively communicates on multiple levels.

Position Summary

Optimizes departmental operations by identifying current needs, strategically delegating responsibility, and planning for succession of these responsibilities.
• Carries patient caseload and provides comprehensive goal directed patient treatment to maximize patient outcomes. Organizes patient treatment in order to maximize productivity and treatment efficiency on an individual and department basis.
• Identifies, responds and reports acute changes in patient status. Follows appropriate emergency procedures to insure patient safety. Coordinates and facilitates departmental response to emergency situations.
• Pursues focused skill development through continuing education, self study, involvement in professional activities and organizations.
• Utilizes the organization’s performance improvement methodology to improve quality of services provided by this position to develop program improvement initiatives. Takes an active role in implementing new PI initiatives, delegating responsibilities appropriately. Provides feedback regarding outcomes to all levels of the IP Rehab department, in order to maximize performance improvement.
• Serves as a liaison between clinical department and DOR, to effectively communicate and clarify expectations related to departmental needs and organizational initiatives, determine procedures to implement strategic goals, and provide recommendations to maximize operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure as a PT/OT/SLP required.
• A minimum of five years experience in a rehab setting required with supervisory experience preferred.
