Role Description
We currently have the following position available.
Composite Technician.
Hours will be 630am-3pm M-F 32-40 hour work week
Position: Composite technician- Hand layup with wet layup & pre-impregnated materials experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Punctual and Good attendance!
* Must be able to physical lift up to 50 pounds.
*Must be mechanically inclined
*FAA A&P license is a plus
* Composite Fabrication: create composite molded parts using our client's custom specifications
* Follow Work Order document instructions to lay up (fabricate with various layers of peel ply and pre-preg E-glass/Kevlar/Hybrid Quartz) and configure composite laminates with strong eye for quality
* Demonstrated mastery of debulking technique and procedures
* Assemble and bond components & parts
* Maintain cycle time and pacing necessary for continuous and on time material flow
* Perform postproduction processing: countersinking, bonding and finishing by filing, sanding, grinding, cleaning, cutting, deburring, trimming and hand working materials
* Follow standard document procedures, including filling out work order (shop travelers) and initialing paperwork. Accurate and consistent manual data entry to ensure a complete and 100% error-free materials and manufacturing history
* Able to work Saturdays and overtime as needed
* Perform other jobs as required.
