Responsibilities
- Carefully pack products using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and organize inventory
- Pick and prepare orders accurately using order picker tools and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Verify shipments through quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness before dispatch
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by documenting inbound and outbound shipments with RF scanners and warehouse systems
- Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring proper placement of items for easy retrieval during order picking
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols for heavy equipment operation and materials handling
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience with a focus on picking & packing, shipping & receiving, or distribution is highly preferred
- Proficiency in using mechanical tools such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred)
- Strong physical ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload items safely
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is advantageous
- Experience with order fulfillment processes, inventory stocking, and quality control procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
