Job Purpose and Description:
We are seeking an experienced Junior Escrow Officer (Float) to assist with escrow operations at multiple office locations as needed. This role requires a dependable professional with strong escrow knowledge who can step in to support teams, maintain file accuracy, and help ensure smooth closings. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable traveling to different office assignments. Additionally, this is a float/travel position where we offer mileage reimbursement correct between locations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with residential escrow transactions from opening through closing
- Support escrow officers with file preparation and document review
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents
- Prepare and review escrow documents and instructions
- Assist with balancing files and closing procedures
- Travel to assigned office locations to provide operational support
- Maintain accurate records and provide professional customer service
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of current escrow experience required
- Ability to travel to different office locations for assignments
- Strong knowledge of escrow processes and closing documentation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel at least 25% to each location as a float.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Notary Public certification a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
- Experience with RBJ Software a bonus
