Job description:
- Director of Staff Development acts as the lead of coordination and management of all educational activities in the skilled nursing facility.
- Focus of the Director of Staff Development is to assist and support the translation of our nursing philosophy into practice by leading the planning, implementation and evaluation of education to enhance the knowledge and skills of nursing staff.
- Clinical expert for nursing staff and provides education and mentoring in the development of clinical skills and capabilities.
- Assesses the clinical education needs of the staff and plans, develops, implements and evaluates educational programs to meet those needs.
Qualification:
- Knowledge in Point Click Care is preferred.
- Must have an active California LVN or RN license.
- DSD Certified is preferred.
- Have an experienced for RNA or LVN full- time.
