Warehouse and Inventory Control Specialist

CPL is looking for a motivated individual to join the Purchasing & Warehouse department. This person must be able to handle a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the Warehouse
- Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return
- Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on items to stock
- Establish warehouse practices and protocols with Warehouse Team to achieve an efficient Warehouse
- Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products are delivered/shipped in a timely manner
- Communicate with vendors to ensure products are available regularly
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidate must be:
- Comfortable using inventory management system software and other organizational computer applications
- Forklift certified, operation and safety
- Prior Warehouse work experience a must
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Punctual
- Clean driving record
- Excellent prioritization abilities and be able to meet regular deadlines in a fast-paced work atmosphere
- Ability to work well with a team and be a positive team player
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills
- Detail-oriented and desire accuracy in all tasks
- Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse that is cooled via evaporative cooler.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and negotiating skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics SL and Barcode Gateway a plus
- Attention to detail is a must
- Organizational Skills

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
