About the Role

We are a fast-growing, private optometry office in Murrieta, CA, seeking a Front Desk Receptionist with exceptional customer service and concierge experience to become the welcoming face of our practice. This is a key position for someone who takes pride in professionalism, hospitality, and creating meaningful first impressions.

Optical or medical office experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate with strong professional, hospitality, or concierge experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally; check patients in and out
- Create a seamless, elevated patient experience from arrival to departure
- Schedule appointments efficiently and maintain smooth daily flow
- Gather brief medical history and reason for visit with care and discretion
- Verify and update insurance information accurately
- Answer and route incoming calls; manage voicemail and text communications
- Support the front office team to ensure operational excellence
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Professional demeanor, appearance, and wardrobe
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multitasking and time-management abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Team-oriented with a positive, solution-focused attitude
- Customer service, hospitality, concierge, or professional office experience
- Optometric experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person with the right mindset
