Nursing Faculty Positions Job Description:
The Department of Nursing is seeking full time or part time nursing instructors for its LVN and RN Programs.
Minimum requirements:
RN Clinical-Bachelor of Science in Nursing with direct patient experience in the previous five (5) years and a minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience in the designated clinical area of Maternity and Pediatrics. Must have an unencumbered California registered nurse license.
RN Didactic-Master of Science Degree in Nursing with direct patient experience in the previous five (5) years and a minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience in the designated clinical area. Must have an unencumbered California registered nurse license.
Additional requirements:
· One year teaching experience preferred
· Commitment to CNEI’s mission and the philosophy of the nursing department.
· A clear and current California Registered Nursing License.
· A proven trac record of excellent teamwork, organization and leadership skills.
· Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
· A background check will be required
· A teaching certification or approved course
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
