About the Role
As a Physician Credentialing Specialist, you will oversee the credentialing and re-credentialing of physicians and allied health providers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. You’ll collaborate with providers, insurance companies, and medical staff offices to keep everything running smoothly — so our providers can focus on what matters most: patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage credentialing and re-credentialing processes for physicians and allied health providers.
- Verify provider qualifications, licenses, certifications, education, and professional history.
- Maintain accurate records and contact information
- Track and manage upcoming expirations to ensure providers remain in good standing.
- Serve as a liaison between providers, insurance companies, hospitals, and internal teams.
- Proactively identify and resolve credentialing issues to avoid disruptions in provider participation.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in provider credentialing services required.
- Strong knowledge of insurance credentialing process, CAQH, Medicare PECOS and Medi-Cal PAVE enrollment
- Proficiency in credentialing software, Adobe Acrobat Sign and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy.

- Electronic remittance enrollment
