Key Responsibilities
- Build strong client relationships by offering personalized fireplace and mantel solutions.
- Conduct in-home consultations and job site assessments to provide accurate quotes.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with homeowners, contractors, and internal teams.
- Identify installation challenges early—such as venting issues or gas line limitations—to avoid costly changes later.
- Guide customers through the selection of products and finishes.
- Coordinate installation timelines and ensure all necessary permits and parts are ready.
- Track leads, sales, and client communications using CRM tools.
- Represent the company professionally at all touchpoints, delivering a positive and knowledgeable experience.
- Attend company and industry events as needed to grow customer base and referrals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, HVAC, or home improvement.
- Strong knowledge of venting systems (Direct Vent, Vent-Free), gas requirements, and framing clearances.
- High emotional intelligence with consultative sales skills and active listening abilities.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized in scheduling, quoting, and documentation.
- Proficient in mobile tech tools, CRM systems, and on-the-go estimating software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional industry certifications are a plus.
