POSITION SUMMARY
The Transformative Inquiry Department (TID) is looking for a self-motivated and detail-orientated program assistant to help us with administrative tasks, program events, and special projects. This is a 100% remote position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will entail supporting the Department Director and Program Manager with administrative tasks, projects, and coordination of special events, which will include the Spring and Fall Intensives, admissions events, faculty-related events, and others.
Job Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Program Manager and Department Director to help coordinate department events, including (but not limited to) scheduling speakers, setting up zooms and meeting invites, creating schedules/agendas, coordinating student and faculty participation, creating Canvas pages, confirming/reminding participants, processing payments.
- Attend Open Houses and Info Sessions as student representative.
- Clerical support to Program Manager as needed.
- Meet with Program Manager on a weekly basis.
- Respond to emails, text messages, and phone calls in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail required.
- Experience with office administration preferred.
- Experience working with Canvas, MS Office, Zoom, MS Teams preferred.
- Some weekend and evening flexibility (for special events, info sessions) preferred.
- Graphic design experience a plus
- Web, video, media, experience a plus
