Job Summary
Responsible for incoming and/or outgoing materials as well as documentation and inventory of all materials.
Essential Functions
- Fulfill customer orders and maintain product inventory levels
- Prepare, package, and ship items safely and securely
- Ensure goods are packaged to minimize risk of damages
- Maintain ingoing and outgoing shipments and prepare shipping labels
- Responsible for loading and unloading shipments
- Verify shipment contents are accurate and undamaged
- Work closely with other shipping clerks
- Communicates and collaborates with Purchasing agents and Inside Sales Representatives
- Maintain clean and safe shipping and receiving docks
- Maintain security of warehouse-logistics and safety of all associates and equipment, following accident reporting guidelines and conveying issues to management
- Other duties as required
