Do you want to use your excellent phlebotomy skills to do something unique? Would you enjoy being part of a team that works exclusively with law enforcement?
We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated PART-TIME Certified Phlebotomy Technicians for our team. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for obtaining evidentiary blood samples from criminal suspects at law enforcement agencies and hospitals throughout San Diego County. Successful candidates must possess a current State of California Certified Phlebotomy Technician license (issued by CDPH - California Department of Public Health), have excellent phlebotomy skills, previously obtained a minimum of 100 blood samples, and have reliable transportation. An extensive law enforcement background check will be conducted on all final candidates.
A typical 12-hour on-call shift consists of an average of approximately 6 hours of actual work (6 responses) and 6 hours of personal free time, plus occasional onsite assignment at city jail. Business mileage and communication expenses are reimbursed. We provide all necessary supplies.
Additional compensation available for CPTs with an AA, AS, BA, BS degree or are certified as a CPT-2.
