Position Summary
CFS is seeking a Lead Cleanroom & GMP Services Technician to oversee day-to-day GMP cleanroom cleaning operations while serving as the primary onsite lead for compliance, documentation, and client coordination. This role is critical to ensuring all cleanroom and controlled environment services are executed in strict accordance with GMP requirements, client SOPs, and CFS Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).
The Lead Technician will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining logs, coordinating communication with the client, ensuring SOP adherence, performing and supervising cleaning activities, executing qualification tasks, and being cross-trained to support janitorial and office services as needed.

Key Responsibilities
GMP Cleanroom Oversight
• Lead and oversee all GMP cleanroom cleaning activities, including routine, periodic, and return-to-service cleanings.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with GMP, ISO cleanroom standards, and client-specific SOPs.
• Serve as the onsite point of contact for cleanroom operations.
Documentation & Log Review
• Review, complete, and maintain all required cleanroom logs, including:
• Cleaning logs
• Disinfectant and solution preparation logs
• Equipment and tool logs
• Deviation, corrective action, and re-cleaning documentation
• Ensure documentation follows Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and is audit-ready at all times.
• Identify documentation gaps and escalate issues to management and QA as needed.
Client Communication & Coordination
• Coordinate daily communication with client stakeholders, including Facilities, QA, and Lab Management.
• Participate in client meetings, walk-throughs, and inspections.
• Communicate schedule changes, scope adjustments, and special requests to CFS management.
• Represent CFS professionally at all times.
SOP Review & Compliance
• Review client and CFS SOPs, work instructions, and cleaning protocols.
• Ensure technicians are trained and compliant with current procedures.
• Support onboarding, retraining, and corrective coaching of staff.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
Hands-On Cleaning & Support
• Perform hands-on GMP cleaning as needed, including:
• Ceilings, walls, floors, and all reachable surfaces
• Equipment exteriors, tables, carts, racks, and cabinets
• Pass-throughs, airlocks, and controlled support spaces
• Assist with return-to-service cleanings, special projects, and escalations.
Qualifications & Cross-Training
• Perform and support qualification activities, including gowning qualifications, equipment cleaning verification, and procedural sign-offs as required by the client.
• Maintain cross-training in office janitorial and day porter services to provide operational flexibility.
• Support non-GMP janitorial services when required, without compromising cleanroom compliance.

Qualifications
Required
• 2 years of experience in GMP cleanroom cleaning, laboratory, or controlled environments.
• Strong understanding of GMP principles, contamination control, and SOP compliance.
• Experience with logbooks, documentation, and audit-readiness.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and internal teams.
• Comfortable performing hands-on cleaning work in cleanroom and janitorial settings.
Preferred
• Experience working in ISO-classified cleanrooms.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Prior leadership or lead technician experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

• Ability to work in cleanroom attire (gowning, respirators, PPE).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
