Job Description And Duties
The Program Assistant - Wellness Coordinator will be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive employee wellness program for DSH-Napa. The employee wellness program utilizes a partnership model that operates simultaneously through a top-down/bottom-up structure and serves to promote a culture of employee wellness, inclusion, and participation in the workplace. The Wellness Coordinator will work closely with employees from several different departments, executives, and external sponsors to ensure the wellness needs of employees are addressed in an efficient and comprehensive manner.
The Program Assistant - Wellness Coordinator is a half-time position (20 hours per week). The Wellness Coordinator must be available to work across all three shifts (AM, PM and NOC) as needed when communication and/or coordination duties require work outside of normal business hours.
Applications may be screened and only the most qualified candidates will be invited for an interview. The appearance and completion of your application will be taken into consideration. Effective July 1, 2025, state employees are subject to temporary salary reductions in exchange for Personal Leave Program (PLP) accruals.
