Job Description And Duties
Under general direction of the Department’s Assistant Chief of Labor Relations, the Labor Relations Specialist (LRS) independently performs the full range of labor relations work relating to bargaining units, excluded employees, and any assigned projects.
This position is located within the Human Resources division. Staff in this program are responsible for promoting harmonious labor relations between DSH, its employees, and employee organizations; providing management/supervisors with the tools and resources necessary to carry out the state’s progressive disciplinary process; and delivering effective and innovative training to further employees’ professional growth.
