Job Description And Duties The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), Training and Administrative Support Section (TASS) is recruiting one Child Nutrition Supervisor I (CNSI) to lead the Nutrition Support Unit (NSU). We are seeking a collaborative and motivated leader who is passionate about nutrition education, technical assistance, staff development, and program integrity. The CNSI will play a key role in leading a team that helps strengthen operator understanding of CACFP meal pattern requirements, nutrition policy, training and program resources across California.
The CNSI will work under the direction of the Training and Administrative Support Section Chief and collaboratively with other program units and sections including the Nutrition Education and Training Section (NETS), Operator Support and Fiscal Oversight Bureau (OSFOB), Outreach Unit (OOU), and Training and Support Unit (TSU).
