Job Description And Duties
The California Department of Public Health’s Human Resource Division has an immediate opening for a Recruitment Technician (Program Technician II). The Recruitment Unit is responsible for recruitment efforts through job postings, candidate sourcing, social media, and attending events.
We are looking for a self-motivated candidate who will support the various functions of the Recruitment Unit.
Those duties include:
- Tracking and coordination of recruitment events
- Responding to candidate inquiries through email, phone and occasional in person events
- Assisting with data collection, development of surveys, and compiling of reports
- Posting vacancies on different job boards, platforms, and social media
- Providing recruitment services to internal hiring teams
- Scheduling career fairs, candidate consultations and other meetings/events as needed
- Providing customer support to external and internal candidates
- Assisting with the assembly of promotional materials for recruitment events
- Tracking data and metrics on recruitment efforts and reporting performance
