Job Description And Duties
Under the general direction of the Chief of the Division of Operations (OPS), the Director of the Office of Fiscal Services oversees the Department's fiscal operations and various related administrative functions, including the Fiscal Management Section which encompasses the Budget and Accounting Offices, and the Contracts and Purchasing Unit and Grant Services. The position advises the Executive Office and the OPS Chief on policies impacting the Department’s fiscal operations including budgets, accounting, procurement, and grant services; and collaboratively works with other OPS sections and Department programs to achieve goals and objectives. The Director will provide guidance, training, and direction to OPS Division leaders and Department management on a variety of fiscal and administrative issues; oversee internal controls to safeguard the Department’s fiscal and administrative operations; represent the Department to control agencies and the Legislative staff; and participate in negotiations of budget and the development of responsible fiscal and administrative solutions.
Hybrid work options may be available. Occasional travel may be required to the Department's offices.
