The Information Technology Development Section (ITDS)/ Firearms Information Technology Systems Modernization Unit (FITSM) is seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals to join our dynamic team.

As part of the FITSM project team—comprised of multiple divisions and expert consultants—you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of technology for the Bureau of Firearms. You’ll have the opportunity to:

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager (SSM) II, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) in the Firearms Information Technology Systems Modernization (FITSM) Unit will provide analytical support to the Bureau of Firearms Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities. The AGPA will assist the OCM SSM I (Specialist) with OCM activities for the FITSM project. The AGPA will resolve business priorities related to the Project and monitor business activities to ensure approved objectives and benefits are realized. The AGPA will engage with internal and external partners and perform project tasks to support the overall project. The AGPA will participate in all communication and engagements with the project team, contracted staff, internal BOF staff, the Application Development Bureau, executive management, and the external user community.
The AGPA must have strong analytical skills, knowledge of the program's OCM needs, strong verbal and written communication skills, work well under pressure, and perform multiple tasks with accuracy, precision, and neatness.
The AGPA will be required on occasion to work overtime, which may include weekends and holidays.
This is a Limited Term position which may be extended or become permanent.
