Job Description And Duties
Hybrid Telework Opportunity
The Compliance Officer (CO), Health Facilities Construction (HFC) provides technical assistance and guidance for specialized reporting, project tracking and general and practices to staff and clients to facilitate the timely performance of Office of Statewide Hospital Planning and Development's (OSHPD) mission using information technology pursuant to Section 129761 of the California Health and Safety Code. The CO, HFC will work closely with the Department of Health Care Access and Information's (HCAI) Office of Information Services (OIS) and with both of OSHPD's Deputy Division Chiefs and Deputy Director to ensure information technology needs that support OSHPD are being identified and, to the extent possible, solutions are being implemented in a timely manner. The CO, HFC also observes the construction compliance phase of projects and will observe the construction of healthcare facilities as required to ensure work is performed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by HCAI and in compliance with Title 24, California Code of Regulations (CCRs) (including all referenced codes and standards there within), the Office's Policy Intent Notices, Code Application Notices and other applicable codes, guidelines and policies, and other reference materials. The CO, HFC develops and maintains administrative regulations and building standards for health facilities in Title 24 to ensure current application of health facility licensing and federal reimbursement programs; and as an expert technical advisor, responds to inquiries on code interpretation and application.
This position is subject to the Form 700 Statement of Economic Interests filing requirements, which requires disclosure of certain personal economic interests as determined by the Conflict of Interest Code of the Department of Health Care Access and Information. Pursuant to Government Code section 81008, Form 700 Statement of Economic Interests is public record and will be made available for public inspection.
