The role supports a pilot propagation program, collaborates with nursery and seed bank staff on best practices, and provides direction to volunteers and work crews.
They also assist the Reforestation Services Program with tree‑improvement activities, including identifying priority forestlands, supporting Plus Tree and scion collection work, aiding progeny trials and data efforts, and participating in cone and seed surveys, processing, and equipment upkeep.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring plant health, maintaining plant and seed databases, documenting field and nursery activities, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors, supporting grant reporting, contributing to technical guides, attending partner events, and presenting program updates to community and internal stakeholders.
