Responsibilities:
- Develop the annual Governor’s Budget, including analyzing departmental budget requests and testifying in-person during legislative hearings.
- Develop written analyses of the fiscal and programmatic impacts of proposed legislation.
- Analyze unmet public needs and develop alternatives and recommendations for meeting those needs.
- Provide information and instruction to other state agencies concerning budget and financial procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Four years of experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Knowledge of State Government.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and pivot tasks as needed.
