This is a full-time in-person position.
California Commercial Real Estate Services is seeking a Commercial Property Manager (with a focus on the Healthcare sector) with a minimum of 4 years’ experience for a portfolio of medical office buildings in Southern California (Newport Beach, Orange and Irvine).
Qualifications
- Must have 4 years of experience as a property manager or assistant property manager with an active role in day-to-day property operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a property management office.
- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
- Familiarity with standard property management procedures, property accounting, and financial reporting procedures.
- California Bureau of Real Estate (CalBRE) salesperson license a plus.
- (While not required, a CPM or RPA designation is a plus.)
Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day operations of a portfolio of outpatient medical office buildings and provides regular communication to hospital/health system departments.
- Proactively monitors facilities, equipment, building energy efficiency, financial performance, and tenant satisfaction.
- Arranges for maintenance, upkeep, or reconditioning of property and equipment as specified in management services or lessee's agreement.
- Completes Facilities Management tasks and coordinates tenant requests.
- Facility rounding for buildings on hospital DNV license; general knowledge and understanding of licensing requirements a plus, but not required.
- Plans and administers annual operating budget and is responsible for achieving financial productivity performance objectives.
- In conjunction with accounting, prepares monthly financial statements and variance reports for building ownership.
- Coordinates and directs the development of construction projects to verify adherence to specifications.
- Prepares lease and rental agreements for lessees and collects specified rents.
- Competitively bids and manages 3rd party vendor contracts (security, maintenance, grounds keeping, janitorial, etc.).
- Provides support for Hospital client centered goals pertaining to compliance.
- Support ancillary hospital departments.
