Job Description
The Warehouse Associate I plays a key role in supporting daily production operations by accurately cutting pole and rail materials using a chop saw for our custom closet solutions — each tailored to the client’s unique space and design specifications.
This position also assists with unpacking and organizing pallets received from our manufacturing center, ensuring that all materials are handled safely and in accordance with job-specific plans.
The Warehouse Associate I will maintain a clean and organized workspace, and work collaboratively with the warehouse team to support overall efficiency and safety. Schedule: 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Starting pay is $20 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The primary focus of this role will be accurately cutting pole and rail materials using a chop saw for our custom closet solutions — each tailored to the client’s unique space and design specifications.
- This position will also assist with unpacking and organizing pallets received from our manufacturing center, ensuring all materials are handled safely and according to job-specific plans.
- Receive and put away inventory
- Load product into trucks
- Sort and organize products
- Inspects inventory for conformance to company standards
- Operate a forklift to help move and store inventory
- Stage products
- Inventory control and management
- Other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Basic math and organization skills
- Inventory management experience
- Ability to work on feet for an entire shift
- Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Experience shipping, receiving, or working in a warehouse is a plus
- Experience working with woodworking machines (saw, router, drill press) is a plus
- Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
