- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule appointments and events
- Greet and assist onsite guests
- Answer inbound telephone calls
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word) is required
The California Association of Psychiatric Technicians is a public employee union representing state employed Psychiatric Technicians (and related classifications) working in California. We have union members throughout the State from the Oregon border down to the Mexico border. Our Psychiatric Technicians provide nursing care and Mental Health care for the department of State Hospitals, Department of Developmental services and the Department of Correctional Health Care Services. CAPT's headquarters office located in Sacramento is instrumental in ensuring our union provides services and support to our union members.
