About Calidad Services Inc.

At Calidad Services, we’re not your average low-voltage contractor — we’re a security and technology powerhouse redefining what’s possible in surveillance, access control, and integrated security systems.

We work with high-profile private clients, general contractors, and public entities across California. Our projects include everything from enterprise-grade CCTV and access control systems to state prevailing wage public works installations.

If you’re the kind of technician who delivers precision work, leads from the front, and wants to grow with an elite team—this is where you belong.

The Role: Low Voltage Installation & Integration Technician (Level II–III)

We’re seeking an experienced, driven technician with a strong background in security systems, structured cabling, and system integration. You’ll be part of a high-performance install and service team executing advanced projects in CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and low-voltage data infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test Cat6, coax, and fiber cabling systems
  • Mount, wire, and configure CCTV cameras, access control readers, locks, strikes, and controllers
  • Perform prewire, trim-out, and closeout phases for commercial and government projects
  • Commission, program, and troubleshoot VMS and access control platforms (PDK, Hanwha, Avigilon, Brivo, Openpath, etc.)
  • Execute site walks, punch lists, and QA/QC inspections
  • Follow Calidad’s zero-shortcut standards for cable management, labeling, and documentation

Leadership Edge:

  • Support junior techs and installers in the field
  • Lead small crews when assigned by the Install Director
  • Report and document daily production in Monday.com and SharePoint

What We’re Looking For

  • 5 years of hands-on low-voltage experience (security, access control, CCTV, alarm, structured cabling)
  • Solid understanding of network topology, power, and signal flow
  • Ability to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and one-lines
  • Comfortable working at heights, with lifts, ladders, and conduit
  • Professional appearance and communication
  • OSHA-10 (preferred), valid driver’s license, and clean background check
  • Integration or programming skills (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

  • $30–$35/hour starting (based on experience)
  • Prevailing Wage Projects available immediately (up to $75 /hr on state contracts)
  • 90-day performance review with raise opportunity
  • Full-time with growth into Lead Tech, Foreman, or Project Manager
  • Ongoing technical training, certifications, and advancement pathways
  • Company vehicle eligibility for senior techs

Tools, Tech & Systems

We run top-tier platforms: Hanwha, Avigilon, Camect, Immix, Brivo, Openpath, PDK, and more.
You’ll work directly within Calidad’s structured install framework using Monday.com, SharePoint, and System Surveyor to manage your projects and performance.

Our Culture: “Locked In.”

When we’re on the job — we’re focused, prepared, and elite in execution.
We believe in craftsmanship, accountability, and teamwork.
