Mold Technician Calico

Under the direction of the Production Shift Supervisor, Incumbent is responsible for monitoring and maintaining standards through the cleaning of all tools.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performs routine maintenance and servicing of production tooling and equipment components;
• Maintains and organizes the tool storage area to ensure efficiency and accessibility;
• Accurately documents all tooling maintenance and servicing activities;
• Adheres to all Calico procedures and processes, with emphasis on Manufacturing and Set-Up standards;
• Inspects machine safety systems and applies lubrication to tooling and mechanical areas as required;
• Replaces or adjusts mold components and tooling inserts as necessary to maintain production quality;
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment to support operational efficiency and safety;
• Communicates tool and equipment status during shift handoff to ensure continuity of operations;
• Coordinates tooling and mold change schedules to optimize production flow;
• Follows and enforces all safety protocols and mechanical lockout/tagout procedures;
• Assists with mold set-ups and supports production start-ups as needed;
• Performs additional duties as assigned, including providing support for production operations when required.

REQUIREMENTS

· Any combination of education equivalent to a high school education;

· Minimum one year experience in Mechanical or Mold Set up; preferably in a plastic manufacturing environment;

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions;

· Ability to understand processes involved in manufacturing;

· Ability to perform job to acceptable standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
