We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations and ensuring the efficient functioning of the water park facility. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. CaliBunga San Jose is the largest water park in Northern California.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the proper maintenance and safe operating condition of all park attractions.
  • Monitor Pool Chemicals for Safety and Compliance with Health Requirements.
  • Prepares and/or maintains inspection sheets, daily work records, downtime records, modification forms, various other reports, records, logs, etc.
  • Assure that the park is in complete compliance at all times with ALL State and Federal laws, codes and safety procedures. To include but not limited to DOSH / Cal OSAH / Health and Safety, and Fire regulations
  • Orders and assists in maintaining inventory of supplies, parts and materials.
  • Interacts with and communicates with various groups and individuals, such as the immediate Manager, Park managers and team members, coworkers, guests, vendors, contractors, inspectors, etc.
  • Provides guest service according to CaliBunga San Jose standards when serving the guest, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with CaliBunga safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor/ manager/ leadership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Comply and enforce all CaliBunga policies and procedures
  • Work required hours scheduled while following all labor laws
  • Oversee daily operation of assigned team, to include creating daily and weekly schedules, troubleshooting and problem solving, coaching, and counseling, ensuring team member adherence to policy and improving processes where possible.
  • Create and maintain accurate and uptodate records and documentation such as training logs, maintenance logs, opening and closing procedures, and SOP's.
  • Critique team member performance and support the group with guidance and feedback
  • Prepare development plans and team member evaluations/reviews.
  • Develop, prioritize, assign, and maintain project lists for assigned areas and tasks.
  • Maintain familiarity with all park venues and be able to work productively and comfortably in all areas of the parks.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Capable of performing most complex inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of attractions and park facilities.
  • Comfortable with heights
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Water Park or Pool Maintenance Experience Preferred.
  • Must have good time management skills.
  • The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Must meet state certifications and/or licensing.
  • Good analytical problemsolving skills.
