Job Description
- Manage all aspects of repair and return orders from unit receipt through evaluation, repair execution, shipment, and final delivery.
- Coordinate receipt of units, verify receiving documentation (PN/SN, condition), and ensure all records are uploaded to the Quantum Image Module.
- Select repair vendors from approved vendor pool for all component repairs utilizing current data reflective of vendor capabilities, TAT, and cost.
- Open Sales Orders and Repair Orders, and Track the status of all repairs.
- Expedite repairs, coordinate shipments, and minimize company costs.
- When necessary, assist in procuring replacement components to complete repair of assets.
- Track all assets currently being repaired. Update customers on status of all repairs on a bi-weekly basis and actively manage vendors to preclude late deliveries.
- Run weekly Repair Status Update meetings.
- Continuously research and evaluate new sources of repair, and established sources of repair developing new capabilities.
- Ensure all work products complies with Quality Control Guidelines and ISO including obtaining Vendor Surveys and Certificates from new SOR.
- Conducts on-site inspections /visits to Repair Stations as needed to correct performance.
- Attends repair management related Trade Shows to strengthen vendor relationships.
- Assist in other projects or tasks as needed.
- Responsible for all SDR (Supplier Discrepancy Reports) and warranty claims, including investigation, vendor coordination, documentation, and resolution in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure all repair documentation, communications, and records are properly maintained and continuously updated in the Quantum Image Module.
- Coordinate and track TTI (Teardown, Test & Inspection) requests and repair approvals, ensuring all required authorizations are received prior to proceeding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date status of all repair orders in Quantum and applicable tracking tools throughout the full repair lifecycle.
- Escalate vendor delays, documentation issues, or contractual discrepancies to the Sales Manager as required.
- Coordinate repair evaluation results with Sales and ensure complete and accurate handoff for customer quotation and approval.
- Experience in Quantum Software a plus.
- Experience in repair station vendor order management required.
- Familiar with FAA repair regulations and basic knowledge of Part 145 terms.
- Ability to communicate and understand basic technical information with Sources of Repair.
- Practical analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Strong and engaging interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
